Fireman, spoke to Edge yesterday, no boxes are coming out today, in fact they are closed today for the holidays.

I'm anxious for them just like everyone else. All discussions with them make me feel this box will be worth the wait.

am more impressed than ever with this Volumizer box. I am up visiting the Wife's relatives in Northern CA. Drove 425 miles yesterday, with the Volumizer set on the middle setting (60 HP), except for a few short bursts in the 100 HP position when playing with a few racers. I averaged 75 MPH on the highway, and ran at 80 to 85 on some stretches..... hit some traffic going through SF.

Fueled up this morning in Petaluma, 23. 1 MPG !!! I love this truck and box! :D

It seems like a lot of these box's don't do much until after 2000 RPM's, heck, thats where I shift! How early does the volumizer add power?

Scotty

I just installed the Western Diesel box, and I gotta say I like it!! It seems it is most impressive about 1600-2000 range. We'll see what it does for MPG.

I still would like in cab adjustment, and a little bit more power. I might have to get on the band wagon and get a TST.

If the TST is finished and they are taking orders I don't see why we can't know what the box will do and what its features are.

I was hoping that once it was finished that features & performance data would be made public on their site.

I sent an email off to them in hopes of a link to the users manual so I could see the features of what I might buy... . no response back yet and that was a week ago. I guess I will have to try a phone call.

I am wondering how secure the power settings are, if anyone can hop in the truck and dial up what ever they want to try or if I will have password control or something.

Other interests are defueling at pre-determined EGT's, the physical size of the control box for mounting ideas, how it installs in case I need to remove quickly and performance data along with any other recommended modifications over stock for its use.

Oops, posted that a little too soon as I did learn a little more info-

Now they show the remotes size:

#ad

Remotes are 2. 5"L 1. 75"H 0. 75" Thick

Sounds nice but anyone know if the above is the one shipping or is it this one:

#ad

and Adding up to 150HP and 500 Ft Lb Tq at the rear wheels

but surely that can't be with stock exhaust, turbo and air filter system?

I believe that is with the stock exhaust, turbo, and intake. The drivetrain... . now that's a diffrent story. Gotta get me one of these!

Bone stock, but EGTs are not manigible at all at that setting for more than a few seconds. They also claim they have found nothing in the aftermarket that controls EGTs well enough for that setting. I am guessing you would need a monster turbo if wanted to run that setting for very long.

Lets hope that power settings are password protected then for those of us that let others drive our truck. I am very particular on who drives mine but I would want to "know" that tampering is not possible.

anything new?

been real curious about these. I heard that the first batch of TST had the wrong plug ends on them. is that true?

I thought edge was suppoded to have released their numbers by the end of the year, so what has anyone heard from them?

I get the same thing. Previous products from them seem proven well so I would guess they are just tiring of everyone's questions when they don't have the answers just yet. I hope its a nice product... . looks sweet.

new timing boxes

Gentlemen: Seems to me that a larger fuel system and a larger turbo are in order to support an additional 150-HP!!! Food for thought:--)
