LED bulbs in Projector Housing behind Dust Cover?

I bought some LED bulbs on Amazon and I'm having issues getting them to fit inside the Projector housing with the dust cover. The 9005 bulb I can't even get into the opening due to the fan on the back of it and the 9012 bulb will cause the dust cover to be unable to close/seal. Here's the bulbs I picked up from Amazon... any suggestions or what anyone else has done? (At least until I buy new headlight housings lol)

I think it is more than a dust cover. It keeps moisture out too so it needs a good seal.
