No I have no experience with them. The company has excellent customer service and will not hesitate to help/return or refund. That is correct you only need the single circuit.

I'm looking at some tail lights on ebay for my 01 Ram marketed by ACEKOGYO (see link). Anyone had any experience with them or does anyone have LED tail lights for the 01 they like? These look real good in the picture but until you get them in your hands... . it's a crap shoot.

Luv These Lights!

Sharron and all

They just came on Saturday and they're great. I don't need to post photos... they look just like the photos on page 2 of this post. Great quality, perfect fit, great lights and they back up lights are worlds better than stock... . makes me wonder why Dodge can't build a product like this in the first place. All the stuff we do to our trucks, good stuff like better headlights and tail lights, transmission improvements, fuel delivery that works and makes sense... . oh well I digress... . you're gonna love these tail lights.

Send a PM to B KIRK about those tailights. He has them and his wife even noticed them,LOL..... Andy

take off lenses

if you still need a set I have 2 pairs of the factory 03-06 tail lights they are very low millage as they were off of the dealer lot when we swapped out to LED on a few trucks... I run the APC LED tail lights on my 05 and so far have been very happy with them.

IC Smoke,

The tail lights and the whole back lighting setup looks great!

No pics right now. My tail light housings went through a miriad of experiments with different lighting. I think I'm where I want them. I drilled holes in the lenses right in front of the bulb and installed blue high intensity leds. Epoxied them in place and drilled wire access holes through the sides.

I have to buy another set of the newer tower leds I showed pics of earlier in this post to install on the lower part of the housing.

The blue led install is scrappy. My housings need replacing. I need to get a brand new or used set... 03-up if anybody has a set for sale.

Then I'll do a real precision install of the blue LED's

The effect is really good. You get the nice bright pink/purple hue just like blue dot lenses.

$30 shipping !!! Do they come direct from China for dogs sake... I know shipping these days is pricey, but $30 !!!

No that's just the way they get their ebay fees lower. They charge higher shipping rates and lower the product prices. Very common practice.

Here are a couple pictures of my full LED tail lights using the autolumination.com tower LED replacement bulbs. These are the dual circuit wedge base bulbs that have a total of 20 LEDs...

These are the first direct LED replacement bulbs I have ever used that are actually brighter and light up more of the stock internal reflector than the stock incandescent bulbs. I love these bulbs. They are $18. 99 each so my cost was about $80 after shipping to repalce all four. I also have about $20 in load resistors.

Than I drilled the lense and added super bright blue LEDS for the bluedot effect. Really came out slick... I'm going to perfect my blue LED install on another housing set so it's a lot cleaner. The blue dot is wired to only fire when turn signals or hazards are used. The new housings, I'll put them on the brakes too. Normal driving it's just red. Hit the turn signals or brakes and you get the bright blue dot effect.

20 LED's Bulbs...

Finally they came up with a replacement bulb that really works. I have them and they fully light the reflector. These are the I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER if you don't want to change housings.

I ordered these bulbs. Not impressed with the illumination on my Motorcycle. 20% restocking fee. Ouch!

Now the 194 36 LED Array is a good replacement in the overhead dome lamps.

Every housing poses different reflective characteristics. I was behind a third gen Dodge today and I can say for sure there is no doubt in the daytime my tails are brighter. At night... well you see the pics!

I had the 20 LED towers in my stock 2nd generation rear housings and they are not even close to how brite the new LED ones are.

And I won't argue with that. I like your full dedicated LED housings.

But these LED replacement towers are no doubt brighter that the stock bulbs.

I have third gen housings which are very different than second gen stock housings. The third gen housings have a very large reflector in them that really works well with these bulbs.

This thread is good. Gives us a chance to discuss all the options. Trust me if I thought these didn't do the job I would say it. The previuos LED bulbs I had in sucked.

Dang these are pretty popular!!! Im still having guys at gas stations ask me where I got the lights! mostly gassers but heck at least they have a ram!

Anyone that buys a set will enjoy the outcome!! they look and work great! the backup light is super bright!!!

Ian

Just got my LED rear housings off E-Bay. Boy are they really bright. The backup bulbs weren't included with the lights. Had to use my factory incandesents. Which led bulbs are you guys using? I have my rear tractor lights for added backup light wired into my backup bulbs. I installed a switch at the rear so I can turn them on when I'm working back there. This causes my factory backups to come on. I'm worried about the heat they generate over prolonged use. Is there a way like a diode or something to prevent this from happening? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Need your help

I ordered a set of these tail lights from the link provided in the first post.

Its been two weeks and I have not received them yet... I've emailed them twice and just keep getting the "we are looking into it" response. Does anyone that bought and received theres have a return address or phone number for this company?

If so could you please send it to me in a PM.

Thanks,

Adam
