TULSA???? Lets do this!

Trail Ride / Campout / Color Tour -- Yooper Land, Michigan

October 26 is not a date that we are looking at but we are not counting anything out.

We have had several conversations with the Ford club president and are trying to work out the details, they are a great bunch of guys and are very helpful.

We are very interested in a combined effort as are they.

Oo. Oo. I just found about this Tx. Track Directory. Go to DFWmotorsport.com/track-dir.com It will bring up most of the tracks in Texas.

Just a suggestion for what its worth.

Houston Raceway Park, October 26th.

The Ford guys have worked out a deal to let us race on the same night as the "Clash Of The Titans".

This year the rally will be held on October 25th through Oct 27th.

The location will be the Guadalupe River RV Resort in Kerrville TX.

Guess I will have to choose which will be more fun ???????

Texas Rally 2002 or racing in Houston against some Phord's

Is there going to be many Dodge owners at the Houston event ??? If so let me know??

My understanding it that it is a diesel class in an event called "The Clash of the Titans" Here is a link to thier website. No mention of diesel on the site yet though. It is being sponsered by the local Ford group here in Houston.

I will be there unless there is a problem getting my transmission working. There are a lot of guys drivin' pickups in Texas and that's not a bad thing. But I'd like to let them see how well a Cummins powered truck can get down the 1/4 mile.

I've talked with the big "E" about the concept of having a year end diesel pickup round up in TX. This could set some of the ground work. Need to put some teeth into the DHRA.

Couldn't agree more with this idea.

Keep us posted on this event. I'd love to bring my Dodge out and meet some of you guys. I'm in the Houston area so I'd be more than willling to race!!! Let me know what goes on... LOspacecab@aol.com:D :D :D

HVAC if you need support, you got support!!!!! Place to work on your truck or a secure place to store it before or after event, just drop me a line. If you break anything I can swing just about any Cummins part you may need.

I'll bring my kids to the track to be your own personal cheering section!!!!! Anyone traveling in who needs assistance with anything, if Gitch can't be reached, drop me a line at:

HVAC If your going to be there count me in, I just wish I had a bigger turbo and and injectors to try out,, But I cant afford them anyway. I have to settle with my mid to low 14's but I want to race some ford powerjoke's :D Does any know of a RV camp ground near by to stay at. If so let me know to make reservations.

Mark,

The guys down here wanted to put on a dragrace/rally. Well they couldn't swing the ungodly amount of $$$ the track wanted, so they are doing the rally in Kerrville this year again, same weekend. So for those that wanted to camp, they can go camp, and those of us that wanted to race, we can race. :D

I do not think there has been too much contact info given out yet though.

Shripmy,

I would think that Curtis would be busy that weekend with the Kerrville deal, and might not be able to go.

Andrew

Thanks!

Craig wanted to know. I think his BUM a#$ is gonna come down and 'show' us rednecks how those undervalved denver trucks run ;):p:p:D:D:D

We'll see if he readin' up on this :-laf :-laf
