For anyone else that has had the rubber sockets and housings melt due to very hot factory bulbs I found a solution. I went to LEDLight.com LED Lights, LED Lamps, LED Bulbs and found a replacement for the hot little bulbs. Of course this was after I replaced the little lenses due to the factory ones being totally useless. You need the T10 wedge 3 LED light, although not as bright as the regular ones but they are ALOT cooler and should stop the melting. There are total of 3 T10 lights 2 of them offered are brighter just which ever you want to use.

Anyone know of a better aftermarket lighting for the license plate, I'm wondering if it may be cheaper to just use something that will just bolt in place as part of the plate as opposed to replacing the lenses and all that crap:rolleyes:. just a thought

Sweet, I can get some of these for my cabin as well, nice selection and decent prices, thanks alot
