Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) lift pump, dealer "just doesn't get it"

I'm also with Gary on this one. This guy sounds like the type who'll screw you on a repair for $$$. Then he'll try to get the same amount of monies from DC because he knows it's covered under warranty. He would rather you don't know that it's covered under warranty and could tell DC that your invoice was a "gratuity". Call DC on this guy. Make sure they look into his claim for repair on this job. I have a feeling that once you get them to look into it, they will become very interested in this dealer.

Pitt Bull, I see by your address we're both from the "Show Me" state, but not near each other. I don't think you'll need to be concerned.
