Years ago I put a Holly Blue on the frame near the front of the tank with an inline screw off canister filter between pump and stock filter. I have two Westach electric sending units on the input and output ports on the stock filter body (99) with a switch to look at each sending unit with the same guage. Several times I had the pump output/filter input give me some information like the pump was failing and I thought it was hot weather (+100F) but the other morning, this sending unit gave me a Negative (just below -1 or -2 psi) while the air temp 50 F and intermittently press would come back and then fail so I switched and looked at the filter to VP44 pressure and 14 psi solid. I deemed a failed sending unit!! 6 years old! Has anyone had these Westach sending units fail, I notice you cant buy a replacement for these as they have changed the whole setup. . COMMENTS?????l

I had a Westach sending unit go bad after only a couple of years. I switched to a mechanical gauge and have had issues with it too.

I talked with Geno's and there may be a possibility of them getting "Old Style" sending units from the manufacturer in the near future. . I was not able to talk with anyone at Westach on last Friday PM. Otherwise ????? I will use the grease gun hose trick to isolate the sending units from Vibrations when I get the new units, this may help in the future!

I installed mine at least 10 years ago with the grease gun hose. It is still there and working. Hope I did not jinx myself.
