Hey guys,
Just got my Briar Hooper FP test gauge today, slapped it in one 2 plugs on top of my housing:
8-9 at Idle
6. 5-7 crusing
3 psi @ WOT
As I understand it, the pressure should never go below 7-8?
I also heard a rumor that Dodge has a new spec for minimum pressure at idle of 8psi.
I have an appointment to take it in to the stealer on Monday am but they said on the phone that Chrysler would mandate they check the pressure pre and post filter, when I questioned them about it costing me any $ they kind of hesitated and said "it shouldn't".
ANY ADVICE on how to approach the stealer so I don't get ripped off would be much apprecited.
p. s. 71k on my 99 (not sure if it's ever had a new LP installed)
