lift pump install, tips,tricks, specs

Anyone know the torque specs for the lift pump bolts. It seems to me that I read about a special way to install? Maybe I'm all wet.

If it is the diaprhagm pump, it is a straightforward install. If it is the piston pump, you will need a new outlet line, a spacer plate, and gaskets (or gasket maker, your choice). Other than that get the bolts tight, but dont break or strip them. I dont think it's worth getting a torque wrench down in there. If you are worried about the bolts backing out, use some Loctite on the threads.

The bolts, which are actually a cap screw, are 8mm I believe.
