I think I have one or the other bad, this morning on my way to work I noticed that my fuel pressure was only 1. 5 psi. After I got to work I shut the truck off and bumped the starter and got 2. 5 psi. 45 minutes later, I bumped it again and it went back to normal (5psi). It was fine until I pulled my fuel down on WOT (TST) and then it stopped @2. 5 again. since then it has been normal. I think it is the gauge bad, am I right?

I would err on the side of caution and test with a mechanical gauge ASAP. May be the gauge sender , but probably is the LP. When I pump my starter I get 14. 5psi and cant pull the pressure below to 5. 0 with my EZ hooked up. My truck is in the shop for a New VP after losing 2 LP's in the past 6 months and 4 total in 45K.

I just noticed that u have a 2003. U may want to ask this question in the 3rd generation engine forum. May get better answer.
