That's exactly what they sound like Quad!! I almost fell out of my chair when I read that!! Durability is another issue, we only run the holley's on our off-road trucks and they see a max of maybe 100-200 hours of operation per year and they only last a couple of years. I wonder if the holley pump would cause a restriction in the fuel flow if it was turned off? I wouldn't know as I've only ever used them continuosly. What I'm thinking is maybe it could be put inline along with the stock lift pump with a pressure switch that would turn on the holley if fuel pressure went below a set limit. That way the pump isn't running continuosly for durabilities sake. Only when running hard at WOT. Thoughts?
