My Best thought on a LP is do a search on the many lift pumps around. but what do you want?, just a pump or a full system, or a montifyed sys, or a mechanical. There are many good systems out there, as walbro, Fass, airdog, rasp, etc.
If you just want a pump I would say get a Walbro setup, but if you want a full system with filters go with fass or airdog. If you don't want a electric pump go with rasp.
All of the above seem to be very good, some had problems in the past but doing good now. I have a fass on my 2000 ctd. and got a walbro for my 01 but someone wanted the truck more than I before I got to install it. #@$%!
But first get a FP gauge. I have checked mine in the past at the vp with a manuel gauge and it showed good sitting still, but after installing a in line fp gauge I was shocked on what I saw. With a slight push of the throttle my fp went down to 0-2 , then went back up to 14 after letting off throttle.
I don't trust dc on checking fp as standing still and running you can get different readings.
I have read many threads on this from many forums about lp's, There is some good reading like the one about the oem carter and cavitation or what ever.
Do your homework and decide, if you ask your going to get 100 different answers.
Good luck.
