Going too easy on my truck?

I have a 6" superlift kit on my truck. I have a bad blind spot by the passenger front tire. I have had two people, both very small cars, get too close when they were merging into my lane and hit the corner of my bumper. I couldn't see their window unless I was REALLY looking for them. Why do small cars get brave and cut off big trucks and big rigs? Happens all the time. The first time it happened the guy was so close, I didn't feel any impact at all. It was in heavy stop and go traffic. It felt as if I was stuck on a curb. I was wondering what was with my truck until I heard someone laying on the horn. Guy must have been scared seeing that big grill pushing his car.

Last week it happend again. Some lady was did the same thing when she was merging in my lane, but this time I was at a slight incline making visability worse. The lady keeps saying I hit her. I wish there was a sensor I can install.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

In Ca, that's called failure to yield to oncomming traffic (her trying to merge "into" you) I feel the small car thing. Why is it that they think they can just zip around everyone and everything? They come up soo close on me that I can't even see them behind me, and when I start to change lanes, next thing I hear is the faint little "meep" horn of a Civic or Corolla. One followed me until I stopped and tried to get in my face. They got a face full of fire extinguisher :-laf . The thing that gets me, when I'm coming home from work, everyone is rushing into work (I work graveyard), so I'm not in a real hurry to get home.

I’m not usually in a hurry my self, life is good. But what I hate is when these small cars get right on my tailgate where I can’t see them at all. Then try to zip by, or ace me out of a merge. Even at stock height, aside from 285 series rubber, I still get a huge blind spot to my right front and right rear looking back and of course when small cars get right on my bumper. I started leaving my drop receiver in place, and this has helped scare most of these “Lil” cars away. Also the grille guard up front keeps them moving forward or out of the way.

In a 6" lifted F250 I used to have, I had a lady on her cell phone merge right into the side of me. Her rear bumper was about middle of my door and I never saw her. I was riding along and all of the sudden my truck pulled HARD to the right and terrible vibration in the steering. I look over and see a small Honda dive off onto the shoulder. Well figuring something happended I pulled over. She was shaken and there was a black NASCAR style donnut on the middle of the car. She said she was on the phone and didn't see me! How she missed an diesel F250 on 36's with stacks I'll never know. She got all tire on me so no damage to my truck.

I can't understand how stupid people get around a big truck, especially one with a trailer, almost like they think I could stop or swerve to miss them.

I only have a leveling kit and 315s, but the blind spot is still bad. I have come very close a number of times because of a small ricer in my blind spot on the right front of the truck thinks I see them and will move out of their way. I added small angled swivel spot mirror that I have angled to see directly below the tow mirror. This has saved a couple of ricers that I did not no where there, but saw the tail light glow in the small spot mirror.
