Help choosing small tractor/mower

Was out wandering around in the wrecking yard and came across a Club Cab Lil Red Express Truck. Production date was 11/78. None of my searchers indicate a Club Cab ever being produced. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

The engine/ transmission and stacks are gone. The bed, doors and cab are restorable. I did not examine the floor boards but there does not appear to be any major rust on the exterior.

I can get pictures.

Club cab Lre

78- 2188 LRE's made.

79- 5118 LRE's made

80-2 built and shipped to canada.

Got this from a Very reputable LRE site. No Club cab Lre's were ever made(factory that is) Must be one that somebody built on there own, Goerge (83 crew cab) might know a little more.

i'd snag it anyways, would be a heck of a neat piece even

if not a fact. piece.

Scot. .

Looking thru the books I have and a few calls to friends has brought forth a echo of what Proram has already said. NO LRE trucks were made with the club or ext cab option and my guess its a clone made with some original parts. If the body is OK I'd be inclined to buy it and do some work it would certainly light the fire in some peoples pants at Mopar shows:D :D :D ... ... Andy

LRECC?

Maybe it is a Warlock, the LRE wannabe that was about the same vintage. I saw one of them recently with a Slant Six and the OD 4 speed. Either way it ought to be saved. DK

Looking at the paint on the thing, the conversion must have been done early in it's life. All of the fade is about the same. The decals are still readable and fairly good on the doors.
