Competition ARP Rocker Studs....

Competition Village People on Trucks TV! AE's official review.

Currently, short of growing a 3rd foot, or using a stick, or leaning forward to pull the parking break, while applying friction to the cluch and holding the throttle open. Has anyone ever figured out a way to build boost with a clutch?

I have the ConFE, I hear this is bad idea. Building 20psi will likely render the ConFE useless after a few launches. But, what about 2 or 4psi? better then 0 :) But lets not limit this question to single disks, more so you crazy duoble disk guys draging your trucks down the 1/4 mile.

Now, I figure this can be down effectly one or 2 ways. Line lock on the read breaks, or an easier to control "release" for the parking break. I searched for a hour and found nothing, then again TDR's searching isn't very google in quality.

Anyone pondering such a setup? I would love to explore the parking break secondary release option. But to advoide re-inventing the wheel, has anyone else done this?

But the one thing I can think off here is that staging at the light it woudl be difficult to stage the second light, set the break, built boost and launch. tha'ts allot of crap to do if your second to stage. , line lock would be a little faster.

yeah, I understand the quality and quantity of clutchs discs are needed. BUT, what is used to prevent rolling forward at the tree short of heel-toeing things. I can't stand heel-toeing, even with my size 13 shoes.

I was pondering the same thing the other night. Having a line lock on the rears to build some boost, start letting off the clutch and hit the button with it floored. But then again, manuals werent made for racing. I still do it though. A DD clutch would help things out substantially in this I would assume.

3 pedaling isn't too hard; you get used to it. One foot on clutch; one foot on brake and toeing the throttle.

For burnouts I'd launch at 20lbs. I'm thinking that'll work sled pulling... we'll see.

maybe my feet aren't big enough :)

And manuals aren't for racing? You can argue that idea with big trucks only wildmanben. All "fast cars" are manuls. There are very few performace cars out there fully automatic, even then, they are manual gear boxes in with gizzmozs moving the parts for you on a few $500,000 cars. '

These manuals are not. I tried racing 1 for two years half of that time with a d. d. clutch they suck for racing. The only way to make them fast is in my sig. :D
