Thanks Matt & Friedson. Heres a quick update. I went to a local Rhino dealer- Only 11 miles away. It is a part time business (nite appts only), and he has yet to do any color but black or grey. He did have swatches of a generic red & blue, but was very apprehensive to recommend because he doesnt get the warm & fuzzys from Rhino HQ. He did have the 2 different types of uv protection listed, but had no idea of the pros/cons of either. The generic blue is a pretty close match to Patriot Blue. Price for my sb was 400+ tax +100 for color+? for whatever uv gloop he decides to go with. He did suggest having me sign off regarding any claims to fade resistance. Bottom line- I am queasy with a 550/600 est for a product that may look okay when new, will probably look bad soon after, and is being applied by someone that doesnt do it very often, or have faith in it. Well, that settles that. ... By the way- this is a interesting thread.

Like I said a few pages back, Im very happy with my LineX job. They did a great job! Removed all hardware and replaced it. All lines are straight and it looks like it came this way from the factory. I hope it dosnt fade much. I guess time will tell, but my truck is garaged 99% of the time. My vote is LineX all the way. Oo. :) Oo. :) Oo.

Most Rhino dealers will not spray colors at all. Like I said, a liner that has just pigment added will fade like crazy. Rhino has a product for their black liners called Rhinoshine that keeps it from fading. But, Rhinoshine flakes off the liner and it has to be reapplied a couple of times a year. It's a PITA to put on.

Like I mentioned above, get a LINE-X color match with Dupont Nason paint. It won't fade any faster than your truck's paint. Also, just a pigmented liner will not exactly match the truck's metallic paint's properties. You CAN match the metallic properties with Nason paint.

Yes, LINE-X recommends Just Once if the liner does not have anything else on it, such as Nason paint or Ultrashield (LINE-X's UV topcoat).
