I don't have a Little Giant but do have a 17' Werner adjustable ladder that I love. Very handy in lots of different situations.
They are heavier than the Little Giant, but your wallet stays heavier too!Yeah those are nice although a little heavy.
Aren't we all?Could be that I am getting old and feeble
Im going to have to double check exactly what I saw at costco. It is a little giant for $169, and it says it is 17 ft from what I remember. They are heavier than the Little Giant, but your wallet stays heavier too!
Several years ago, I was considering a Little Giant after looking at one of their "info-mercials" where you try it for some low-buck price. When I called in, I never could get the guy to tell me how much the ladder cost if I wanted to keep it. I told him I would buy the ladder--just tell me the total cost. He never would and I never did! That beat anything I ever heard of, until that little socialist ("commie-nist") from Noo Yawk raised the bar. She wouldn't tell how much her "free" medical care was going to cost. LOL
The base is the same width (wider) in every configuation. I use my Werner to clean the gutters and it's as stable as any ladder I've used. When in a shorter mode, they have a wide base. But if you extend the bottom, it gets quite a bit narrower.
I havent seen one extended. So does that mean that the narrow portion does not touch the ground ? Im glad I asked the question
