It's not locking but I like it! OE for EcoDiesel. SNOKING recommended it.

Amazing! MY truck stickers at $67K, comes without a fuel cap and it's OE on the Eco-Diesel?

Reminds me of having to order fender liners for my 02! Dodge/Ram are sure tight when it comes to plastic goods!

I want the Bem!

I've also been thinking about swapping the filler neck out with another truck that can accept a traditional style locking cap......Couldn't be too hard

There is a very good CG video on the ********* site which illustrates how the cap works. I believe the keys are all the same, as no reference to lock number is required to purchase additional keys. The mechanism is pushed into the fill neck and clamps around it as well. The design is not that of a traditional lock and seals very well. The key is a cylinder that fits over the locking mechanism and has an offset protrusion that is inserted into a mirror image dimple in the lock, and rotated to unlock and to lock.
It seems to be difficult enough to open, that whom ever is looking to mess with the fuel fill neck will go to someone else's truck.

Thanks for the detailed information TomBrady. Much more informative than the CG video. Appears the "Key" design is more to keep the average person from getting into it, kind of like a security TORX bit. Thanks again. This is going on my wish list.

Thanks Tom, now if rumors are correct they will soon have a blue one for the DEF fill.
