OK now I get it. Do you think the keys are all the same or are they individual for each lock.Clip their link on keys to see that.
Tom can you describe the key function, do you feel it is secure, is each key keyed to only one cap?I bought one from BEM a couple of months ago. I'm happy with it.
There is a very good CG video on the ********* site which illustrates how the cap works. I believe the keys are all the same, as no reference to lock number is required to purchase additional keys. The mechanism is pushed into the fill neck and clamps around it as well. The design is not that of a traditional lock and seals very well. The key is a cylinder that fits over the locking mechanism and has an offset protrusion that is inserted into a mirror image dimple in the lock, and rotated to unlock and to lock.
It seems to be difficult enough to open, that whom ever is looking to mess with the fuel fill neck will go to someone else's truck.
