Lone Star TDR had the best meeting to date this morning. I did not take a count but we had a least 20 trucks and thirty five people in attendance.

After breakfast, we hung out behind the Cracker Barrel and shot the bull while TXRam hooked up an EZEdge for anyone that wanted to try it out. Before the test drive, most everyone had a look of restrained excitement... the expression upon return was classic #ad

About 11:30, about 12 of us headed to Pearland for some dyno runs. After a little delay Flat Rate Performance opened the shop. We have to thank MDW for taking the time getting the event setup.

I was first on the dyno:

Run #1 - 204. 8hp / 428. 4ft-lbs (Stock)

Run #2 - 237. 7hp / 498. 7ft-lbs (EZEdge)

Run #3 - 281. 9hp / 592. 3ft-lbs (PEdge LV3)

Peak numbers don't alway's tell the whole story. The EZEdge added 46hp at 1850rpm on my truck although the peak horsepower gain was 33hp.

I'll let the rest of the guy's tell you their version of the story... as alway's, YMMV

It was a fun day for all, except the looks on the wives faces that tagged along. The EZ-BOX was a real eye opener for all. It seemed to wake up the stock engines and put a bombing bug in almost everyones britches. The only dissapointment for the day was when a 24 valver with the $2300 Banks system was hooked up to the dyno and only posted 45-50 more hp than a stock 24 valver. names and identities are being withheld due to BIG BROTHERS(DC) everpresent eye, on this site.

Guys, it was great meeting everyone today!
Finally got to put the names/handles together
with a face. Now if I can only remember
which is which/who is who! #ad

I will put together the images I took today
and send them to Gitch sometime tomorrow.
The smokin' burnout/tire torture demonstration
will take a little longer. Eventually I hope
to have it compressed, and in a format that
everyone can download & view. It should be
posted on the LSTDR website in the next few
days! In Hi-Fi stereo and color #ad

Hey Dalton, please be nice, My wife was there and she said she actually had a good time watching all the men playing with their expensive toys. She did remind me the difference between men and boys is the price of their toys. She did add it would have been better if not so chilly outside. Are you going to Dallas next month? I think they said 17th and 18th.

Okie-Go, Now that I think of it, Your wifey did seem to be having a good time. I think it was the other one there that didnt look thrilled. I will try to make it to Dalls, but its up in the air, have to see if I can get off work. . Tell me this, does she like to go hunting too?? If so, your a lucky man. BTW the little kids seemed to be having about as much fun as the big kids. If anyone has the name of the guy with the Banks system on it, send it over to RAMBOY, he needs to talk BANKS with him, and maybe do some trouble shooting.
