Fass system questions

I know this has been covered a thousand times, but I can't seem to find what I want using the search button.

I mainly use my truck as a construction vehicle. I regulary haul a dump loader which weighs 4k-10k. I also haul a gooseneck regulary into the PA mountains weighing around 14k. I figure the TST with diplay might even be a little overkill, but I figure it is a better way to get power out of the engine as opposed to a fueling chip. I am looking for more power when towing and driving empty.

Am I looking at the correct performance upgrade for my driving habbits?

My second question is about exhaust upgrades. This too, I know has been discussed at length, but i want some opinions on what to get. I was thinking that a 4" exhaust would be what I need. Is this a correct assuption? Also, I was thinking about getting the BD aluminized system because it is only 1db higher then stock. I don't want to turn my truck into a resonance chamber. Are there any other exhaust systems I should be looking into???

Finally, I need to know where you guys are buying your stuff from, so I can get the best pricing. This is important to me because money is tight (as always) and I hate paying retail :).

Thanks,

Aaron

I don,t know much about TST but the Rip Rook 4" system is on sale right now at www.sourceautomotive.biz its a good system for a good deal . It sounds good and its not to loud i was worryed about drone and being to noisy at crusing speeds but have no problem with either. just my 2 cents :)

get the TST it has tons of adjustment plus the extra bit of timing helps the EGT's out a bit. Also the remote with gauges is nice because you cant buy very many chips and gaues that are less expencive, plus it has the EGT cutoff for safety. Get it! you wont be sorry. Im not.

Rip this! LOL :D (just having fun with the name, its friday, no offense intended)

Jarry Jardine has his own line of exhaust he sells under the name Pinnacle Power Exhaust Long story short, Jerry Retired out of the exhaust lime light a few years ago, sold the rights to his name and products but didnt sign a non competitve agreement. He now owns a campground out west and makes an awsome product for RV'ers and us. they are nice and quiet and perform very well. The install is simple too.

they are onsale right now and will beat the "Rips" of the world with Dyno AND flow bench proven performance.

Mark Chappel pioneered the performance diesel market on the 12v's and you can trust his products too. nice little family owned business across the interstate from where he retired and our power comes from (Cummins).
