Ford F600 Has ISB 24V Still?

When I was out there last month, they were waiting on a 2003 to get there. Maybe they have to make room in the stable for the new STUD horse :D :D .

I will show it to my wife and say ... "See, this is what I want for Christmas"... ... And she will politely roll her eyes, to which I will say ... . "then can I buy it for our tenth wedding anniversary present. I will fly you to Vegas to pick it up   . It should be so easy... ...

My guess is just a spacer to clear those lines on the pump.

I love how the truck looks almost 100% stock from the outside. . Looks like it just rolled off the dealer's lot.

I wonder if the bottle of Disani water comes with the asking price  :D

Sweet looking ride... ... ..... wish I had the cake for it:{

When they go to the P7100, what do they do with all of the electronics that controled the engine? What do they do for the automatic as it is electronically controlled? Just wondering...

not that I would know....

Ok, 3 quick things.....

1. ) The electronices are gutted, and a whole new dash, and PCM from the 98 12v go in if i remember right.

2. ) Allthough I would LOVE to have one, a conversion would prboly cost around $5-6000. You have to think about the turned up up for 1,000, a whole new dash, electronics from old 12v, custom bent injector lines, blah blah blah, profit margin.

3. ) I have heard from a VERY reliable source that there are 2 Duramaxes running in the LOW 13's on the 1/4.

I talked to Keith about the P-pump upgrade and his feeling was even if they offered this upgrade as a kit it would still be $6K or more to complete. Evan Beck was going to do this in the near future to his '01 ETH 2wd but last time he was at DD they kinda talked him out of it (if you broke down on the road getting repairs & replacement parts could be a problem, if you crack an injection line you're screwed, etc. ). Bascially it's not a good game plan if you're going to be out on the road a lot.

From what I gathered they haven't done very many P-pump upgrades, and the electronics side of the project is the easy part.

Now that some of the issues have been worked out on the VP44 and guys have been cranking out some serious HP I see no reason to invest in a P-pump conversion.

Another thought is to take a 12V and put a 24V head on, but that would require a piston swap-out and custom lines, but other than that it would probably be an easier project.

A new dash is not needed. The 24V ECM stays, and its only function is to operate the dash, grid heaters, etc.

Vaughn, why would anyone want a 24 V head on a 12V? Form whats been said here, the 12V outflows the 24 once they both have been ported. to me what would be way cool is having the Vp44's electronic advance adapted to the 12v's P pump. The 24 seems much livelier at the same Hp level,IMO,i think this is due to the timing not being fixed. ,I may be wrong though.

Thanks for stepping in Evan. I had heard something about that a LONG time ago.

Snow Man,

From what I gather, it's a design thing with the injectors being stright in head.
