Funny that you should say the previous quote, John... when your truck smokes like a coal-fired locomotive under a load. :D

Matt - not afriad of soot.

matt , i can turn off the smoke on mine , i have seen 12v's that the only time they don't smoke is when they are idling or turned off ...

shop in NC

John,

Thanks for the install! Pass the Thanks on to Scott, Fred, and George also. Much appreciated the work. Truck is running fine. I made the trip back the same night. Ordering the 250 plate from Piers in the morning. Figure I'll install that then look for a shop to do the timing. Smoke? Let it rip. Good for blowing in the windows of rice burners! Must say the DTT TC/VB combo make a great difference in the drivability of the truck. I'm gonna test out the towing side of it this weekend. If anyone is looking for a grweat shop for the transmission work, make the trip up to see MassDiesel. Definitely well worth it. Quality work at it's best!

Mopar-muscle... . that is very true.

We can 'shut off' the soot too by preventing boost from going into the AFC housing... . puts soot levels pretty much back to stock (within reason... ).

John:

I live on the east coast of N. C. (near Wilmington) and

use a Dodge Technician by the name of Roy Whaley

at "National Dodge" in Jacksonville, N. C. to do most of

my work. He is very good at most repairs/installs etc.

and does most of the work for the TDR guys in our

area. The only thing they can't do is calibrate the

P7100 pumps on the 12 valves, however Roy does

take them off and send them to a Bosch dealer.

Their phone number is:(910)347-3777.

Hope this helps.

john p , thanks , the person i am inquiring for posted in this thread , so he should see it . also , if you hit the edit symbol at the bottom of your post you can go in and edit stuff like that out ...

mike , glad to be of service . good see another happy DTT customer . you think its good now , wait till you add some hp and set the timing ... you should have hopped in my truck and went for a spin , but its probably a good thing you didn't :D

I can attest to the fact that after driving the 'Mopar-missle' you will forever be disappointed in the performance of your truck.

400rwhp sure feels impressive... .

More power is only a phone call away - get your plastic out and restart the economy and put a smile on your face at the same time. Buy that twin-turbo setup..... :D
