I periodically check the inventory at my usual dealer (Don Marshall Chrysler in Somerset, KY).

A few weeks ago, I saw a truck that was noted as "In Transit" that finally arrived.....

a 2017 RAM 3500 Mega Cab DRW Limited 4x4

$80,860 USD MSRP :eek:

It would be fun / interesting to see if there's any other trucks exceeding the $80,860 price tag......so post up a link if you can find one. (Canadian dealers don't count due to the exchange rate).

The truck in my signature listed for over $75K with no rear air suspension assist, so I could see a Limited easily going over $80K.

Mine with rear air was 73,155 and it's a 15. Seems like a big difference without the rear air it would have been 71,560. Only options I don't have is auto wipers and headlights.

Highest Rams I could assemble at Build & Price are a 3500 Crew Limited at $79,595 and a 3500 Mega Limited at $81,140.
Highest Ford I could put together in their Build & Price was an F-450 Platinum at $88,930.

Mine has both of those. Also remember, there's more content in the 2016. Bed lights, front parking sensors, etc. And then there's always inflation and greed. :{

Auto loans are exempt from regulations on other loans (like mortgages). The dealer lobbiests are very good.
