Still no joy:confused: I've tried both Netscape & IE. The "click to zoom" is what is not working for me. Can someone post the pics in this thread? I can't tell what I'm looking at in the small pictures.

TIA

This thing is awesome!

Just had Sam (DAWG1) install my steering box fix today... . All I have to say is this thing is incredible! :--) I have 93,000 miles on my truck and 35" tires, and my steering box was real sloppy before. Now it is tight as a virgin! :-laf I really notice it when going over bumps in the road. The truck does not wander at all like it did before. Also seems to be less play in the steering wheel.

Quality is top notch. It fit REAL tight. Sam really had to muscle it in. Not sure if my lift had anything to do with it or not, but he got it on.

This has to be one of the best non-horsepower improving bombs that I have ever done to my truck! Oo. Oo.

For those in the Pacific NW, Sam is in Everett, and does top notch work, custom or non-custom.

Roadranger,

Mine came TODAY. Also was shipped Feb 4th. I didn't get a shipping notice either.

The Postal Service is SLOW!

Looks good

I just picked mine up at the Post Office . It looks really good. I tried to convince my friend we good put it on in 10 minutes, but he had other things to do

I'll put it on in a couple of days.

Nice job you guys.

OK, you guys still waiting for the DSS, here's why, with Darin's email response;

The post office said that there is a holdup on stuff crossing the border

because of the terrorist threats. Customs is scrutinizing all packages, so

they said some stuff is taking up to a week longer to reach their destinations. Also, we were pretty much stuck using Postal Service, as the couriers are a little on the expensive side. On average it would cost just

over double to send thru them. UPS does not offer service here either.

We thought that because this bracket wasn't a critical necessity,(trucks

still run without them) that this would keep the cost down. I am very sorry

for the inconvenience.

Darin

P. S. could you please pass this along. Thank You.

PUT IT ON ASAP! You will be all :D :D :D :D ! Oo. Oo.

I put mine on today. There is a noticeable improvement. Very happy. The build quality is TOP NOTCH. Everything fits together real nice.

Make sure you have a 1 1/4" deep socket. I didn't have one that big. Brought home a boxed end wrench from work.

The guys that are running Poly bushings on the sway bar and endlinks. I had to unbolt the endlinks. Once the bar is loosened it will have to push forward to line up and retighten. I couldn't move mine forward. Polyurathane ( the end links) does not like to compress. I didn't have the strength nor a good place for a prybar.

Mine has seen about 3K miles now and WOW is all I can say. What a great creation. The steering is now like it should be Solid feeling. It does take the snail Mail a while to sort it out but this MOD is worth the wait for sure! A big hats off to the DSS GUYS. .

Thanks Patrick.

Fixed about half the wander problem

I installed Darin's Bracelet yesterday. I managed to milk to project for a couple of hours before I completed the project. I was able to use a heavy duty cresent wrench on the 1-1/4" nut so I got by without a large socket.

The instructions were clear and everything fit as advertized.

My test drive on the freeway was pretty good. My wander problem has been reduced considerably - maybe by half. Thank you Darin.

Anybody know how many of these units the membership has purchased?

Regards to all, Lynn Schwartz

:)

Picked mine up this morning at the PO and installed it in 30-40 minutes. I would like to meet the guy that did it in 10 minutes. Hint, sway bar goes above the bearing flange and below the end flanges. Pushed the passenger side rubber bushing around to the outside until I had it in place. Then jacked the frame of the truck on the passenger side just a bit to get the bushing back around the corner.

SNOKING

Test drive to follow - truck only has 13K and drives pretty good already, so it should continue that for years to come.
