Help Deciding Tire Load Range.......

I have a 32 foot enclosed trailer, dual axle. The left side rear wheel bearing keeps coming loose. The first time I blamed it on cheap Chinese bearings, so I went down and paid for some USA Timkens. Then I had a professional trailer builder install the bearings/races, while I watched. We used a top grade synthetic grease, all new hardware, etc. Now after about 500 miles the bearing is loose again. Possibly bent wheel?

I had one on my utility trailer that did that, turned out to be the castle nut was going on so far that it could back off a little before engaging the cotter pin. I got a thicker washer and that solved the problem. Make sure the nut and spindle threads are in good condition and that the races are not loose in the hub or the bearings loose on the spindle. bg

check for a worn spindal sline area. may be causing the spindal nuts to back off. also dependin on how many spindal nuts ya have, if ya have two find a toothed lock washer like on a 4x4 solid front axle truck. 14 bolt full floater for example, i know its a rear... .

anywho, get something like that, torque the inner nut down, then put the washer on and torque the outter nut down. then put a lock tab into a key way.

done
