I recently installed a transmission gauge and located the sending unit in the hot transmission line using the manifold offered by, Janetty, I think. Anyway I'm seeing fluid leaking from the brass connections, tried tightening these up but I really don't want to put any more uummpphh on them.
Is there a sealant I can place on these threads and conections that is suitable?
I remember hearing not to use teflon tape for fear of threads getting into the fluid and clogging things up.
It's somewhat of a pain to get the line off the truck so I want to only do this once... . again.
The SO has instructed me to stop staining her driveway, so time is off the essence, know what I mean???
PS
Looking for a used Edge Comp or EZ if there are any out there. I GOT THAT BOMB FEVER!!!!!!
