Cold enough to chip a nipple this morning..

Hard to get a shot of that thermometer on the mirror, Yukon does not ride like Hoopty... interior plastic at -5 was making quite a noise as well until it finally warmed up a bit.....:)

Had to bring the Yukon as I have a new TV to pick up this afternoon at Best Buy.....see other story....:rolleyes:

Lake was really moaning and making ice last night, I don't know if I can get an audio recording of that or not....really pretty cool to listen to....

Sounds like Whales mating....

Personally we like the 4 seasons, In calif there's only 2, Decennt OR HOT AS HADES. In Montana Spring and Summer were VERY SHORT in the mountains, fall & winter were long and cold to VERY COLD. In Indiana there are 4 full seasons all though this fall our second here was pretty short, the winter hasn't been to bad at all, lowest temp we've seen thus far is 10* & only in the AM warming to the 20's during the day, snow only inch then melts and an inch and again melts off.

Just saw a video of Caribou on the Weather channel. They are getting hammered with wind and snow and there is PLENTY on the ground.

We got about a foot, been outside all morning cleaning up. Had to leave Hoopty Deux down to the new place last night, simply would not climb the hill on our road. Was a nasty slippery mess...

Had to have our daughter haul us home in a FORD, and don’t think for a minute that I’m not getting dissed over that....even getting grief from my Canadian friends, daughter must have run her phone battery flat just telling everyone....
