A buddy of mine whom I'm still trying to get him to join tdr had a second fass ddrp pump fail within 5000 miles of replacement. Genos has been great about replacing them but now suspecting there is something wrong. Algae in the tank, junk in the tank, maybe drop the tank and see whats going on. The small screen on the inlet side of the pump had no junk in it. Any thoughts? He does have the vulcan kit so pump is on the frame rail just out of the tank. Thanks,Brett

Yes, drop the tank and check the screen on the bottom of the pick up assembly. My screen was almost totally clogged. I removed it. With the drawstraw I have no more issues. Now the level sender float- that's another issue that I still have to permanently fix. I'm on the second OEM float, and the first one was almost totally deteriorated. Its small particles helped the screen clogging.
So, keep us posted what you find in there.

lift pump

bgoogale, i just when thru this about two weeks ago. with the fass ddrp my fuel psi was dropping to 7-9 psi at cruizing speed. 65-70. I was looking at the pump being bad, I lifted the bed and pulled the fuel module out and found the screen filter to be clogged about 90%. I did order a draw straw to put in the tank, and the inline filter before the pump. my truck only has 105,000 on it. now the fuel psi on the fass is 16-17 psi. later

Thanks Guys; I'll pass this info on. I'm going on a trip and will be gone for about a month so won't be able to help him until nov. But will inform you what happens later. Thanks, Brett

Clutch slave cylinder and mastercylinder replacement

I need to replace both of the above and what is the best way to bleed the system off? I have a new slave and M/cylinder, will be using the old hydro tube. Can I put all of this back together, bleed it, then reinstall? If so what is the best way to do it? Thx.
