my first 12 valve didn't even have a tachometer, but it would only turn about 2500rpm tops... meanwhile, a set of decent valvesprings and governor mods, and a 12 valve will turn 4,000+ rpm safely... hmm...



if the truck was perfect from the factory and there's no way to improve it, then why do you have a list of mods in your sig?

[/ATTACH] pulled the valve cover this morning and only found a bent #2 exhaust rocker push tube and the bridge laying inbetween the springs, valve stem height looks ok so i dont think the valve seats or valves are damaged, i think i will detune the smarty rev limit down to 3500 and pull the head to check for other damage...

If the bridge and rod are bent the piston must have hit the valves. I can't think of anything else that could have done that.

the bridge just came off, so far only a bent push tube
