Hey Guys, a buddy of mine has a 2012 3500 C & C with 6.7 and Aisin transmission. about a month ago, the 2 of us deleted it. Did EGR and SCR and Catalyst removal. Truck has a bale loader and pellet feeder on it, so its heavy. Truck will be used on his ranch for feeding cows and moving hay bales out of field. We put an additional 50 HP tune in it because of the weight. About 2 weeks later, he says it has really lost power, stills runs and idles fine, just weak. No smoke of any color out tail pipe, and no codes. I haven't had a chance yet to check it out, just wondering if there is something to be looking for? I did some research the other night, on the EGR kit I used, the kit just had you unplug the Valve?? that is in the air inlet tube going to intake manifold. I see a lot of the other kits actually give you a replacement tube that has that taken out. Possibly an issue?? I would think there might be some black smoke if that was the case, tho.
Possible lack of fuel problem, what/where is best place to break fuel line to check pressure?
Thanks for any tips you can offer, Jim
