The higher the "low boost fueling adjustment" the quicker the truck takes off without the turbo being spooled up yet. I played with mine for a while, and probably burned a bunch of fuel, but would run level 2 for example and adjust the "low boost fueling" up and up untill I had a fair amount of black smoke when mashing the go pedal, then backed it down one "low boost fueling" setting. Cause, it might be a hair faster and black smoke is cool, but it is just unburned fuel, and I would rather burn as much as possible considering fuel prices!
I think I have setting 1 w/ 1"low boost", setting 2 also @ 1 "LBS", and setting 3 @ 2 "LBS" and level four @ either 4 or 5 "LBS", I figure if I'm on setting 4(as high as I go(to protect transmission)) I'm messing with someone and they might as well get the full package, and an ear full of smoke! And if I'm towing I don't really mash the go pedal very often so I might as well keep it from dumping unburned fuel.
If any of this isn't quite right I'm sure someone will correct me.
