I copied and pasted my post from another thread and it pertains more to fuel mileage but You'll get an idea of what is going on.
I talked to Edge yesterday about the Juice/attitude. He told me that the main levels are timing, the sublevels or low boost levels as they call them, are more duration.
After talking for some time the way I understand how it works is like this.
power level 1 = small increase in timing
power level 2 = a little more timing
power level 3 = a little more timing
power level 4 = a little more timing
power leve 5 = the most timing.
Sublevels or low boost smoke control levels.
sublevel 1 = a little extra fueling off idle
sublevel 2 = a little more
sublevel 3 = a little more
sublevel 4 = a little more
sublevel 5 = the most fueling off idle
So if you can drive sensible and keep your foot out of the throttle especially towing you can get your best fuel mileage on power level 4 or 5 with sublevels set at 1.
Timing is what helps fuel mileage with the Juice/Attitude.
He told me that esentually Edge had to call the levels something and since it's a power module before a mileage module the number 1 level was called mileage increase level. They did this with the expectation that people buy these boxes for power and playing around so they had to protect the consumer by naming the levels as such.
Now if you take a little prudence with this module you should be able to get some good fuel mileage.
Set your boost back down % to about 36-38 PSI.
Set your EGT back down % to about 1300 - 1350* F
Turn on your transmission slip back down to ON.
Run your truck on level 3 - 4 with sublevel 1. You should see a nice fuel mileage increase.
Level 4 is what I was told is the best fuel mileage increase but you have to drive conservative and use a lite foot while towing to increase speed from a stop to highway speeds. This is more for drive train safety than anything. If you set your Juice/Attitude up right, towing in the upper power levels is doable and can increase fuel mileage.
Now non of this is from experience as I just ordered a Edge Juice/Attitude from
www.truckaddons.com
I'am just explaining it the way I interpreted it from Edge. I'll know more once I get the module and can experiment a little.
