I am using it with a new Full Suncoast transmission. I spoke with John at suncoast and he said with the high quality frictions used in thier transmission I should use DIII with no modifier instead of ATF+4

Several local transmission shops use it ( or something like it ) with dexron III, where it is specd for ATF +4.

The additive makes the fluid more slick.

Atf+4

I called the dealer here in Colorado today just to ask the price per gallon of ATF+4, $29. 00 per gallon!!!

Last time that I changed ATF it was $18. 00 per gallon. Thats enough for me!!
