Question about Fumoto Oil Valve Orientation

A distributor that I like no longer carries Donaldson Filters that I use on my 2005 upgraded fuel, power steering and coolant filter systems.

He is recommending direct fit crosses with filters made by Luber Finer.

ALL opinions on the quality of Luber-Fiber filters are welcome.

ALSO, any legit distributors for Donaldson filters are welcome.
That said, please NO amazon links...love the price, hate the fraud.

TIA

2020 – Luber-finer® and Champion Laboratories become part of First Brands Group, LLC (formerly TRICO Group).
Prior to that since 2003 they were owned by Carlyle group (private equity).

It does look like they have manufacturing facilities in Illinois and S. Carolina. These days that probably means "assembling out of Chinese made filtration material".

Carlyle has very strong Chinese ties. Not that there is anything wrong with that-Chinese stuff has gotten better, but it's hard for me to get over decades of crappy everything from there. Now it is extrememly difficult to find high quality goods no matter how much you are willing to pay for quality.
As far as filter go, possibly all of the other ones are also made in China, India, Vietnam, wherever. Quality levels from the Pakistan video someone posted a while back to "American" level quality if the facility has guidance from American trained engineers, dunno.

Where are Donaldson filters made???

according to Wiki they have relatively new state-of-the-art plants in Czech Republic, Bogota, and Poland, interesting!
