"Signs? I Didn't See No Signs"

Hello, does anyone have a good solution for the problem of prying a 30A cable adapter off of the cable plug? When I have to adapt to 30A service, getting the 50A to 30A adapter back off requires a couple of flat head screw drivers and a few choice words. #ad

There must be a better way, like a lubricant?
Thanks

Go to Radio Shack or other type supplier and purchase some dielectric grease... Car dealers use it as well for electrical connectors on vehicles... I guess a good autoparts would have it as well... .

I get mine from a wholesaler where I buy shrink tube and other electrical connectors...

do not use the noalox it is for connectors only and is conductive stay with the dielectric grease. use the noalox where you connect the wire to the pin and use the grease between pins to eliminate corrosion
