THANKYOU DOUG

For making it happen, let me know if I owe any more, than the 30. 00$. I also have a question about the shedule,Sat. morning How early do we have to be at Kauffman's,and when do need to be at Beaver Springs for the drag racing. Doug could you please post the directions from Rt 15 to the Beaver Spring drag strip,so that folks that arrive late or get seperated can still make it to the track. Your grateful fellow diesel racer MervOo.

Merv,

The dynoing will begin at 8:00 am. We would like all racers who are concerned about breaking at the track to get on the dyno prior to heading out to the races. That being the case they will get priority to ensure everyone that wants gets to dyno.....

I plan on leaving Kauffmans by 2:30 to be sure everything is going as planned at the strip.

As for directions:

WARNING: DO NOT USE MAPQUEST!! The route it provides is NOT the best way to get to Beaver Springs

Take US-11&15 North,

Here's a real shortcut; saves 12 miles,

3 miles North of Liverpool take PA-104 North to Middleburg,

At Middleburg go South on US-522 to Beaver Springs,

PA-235 North to the track.

Hey Guys,

I was wondering if the KDP Jig will be at Kauffman's. I had talked to Hammer about it, but he wasn't sure if it was going to be there in time. If anybody has it, and will be at the Fall Brawl, could you please bring it? I need to put that bad boy to bed, before it gets me. Thanks,

Brandon

Kauffmans

Ok i've watched this go on for a while and i have to say something. i appolagize if i offend anybody but here goes.

How Bout the Guy who set this whole thing up? Andy (Hammer ) has gone to great legnths to accomadate everybody for his show.

Doug has handled the Drag racing and door prizes. Andy is on the Road all week and still he sets it all up via his cell Phone. (hate to see his phone bill). so I personaly am Thanking Andy for the Hard work he's put into this Event! (He is the Event corridonater) I am SOOO looking FWD,. to this thing it aint funny.

Scott

Hammer would be"Wasted but there!" Scott's right , thanks Andy and Doug for getting everything all put together for this event. I myself can't wait... ... ... ... . john

Brandon,

Have you thought about putting a tab on it? It's not too hard, and should only take a couple hours. Probably less than that, with all the knowledge that'll be there.

And thanks to Andy and Doug for all their hard work. It's gonna be a blast, as usual. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Grill will be in back of truck, (if it fits through the camper door). :D

Jim,

It really doesn't matter which way it gets fixed. Approaching 100K I am constantly keeping an eye on the oil pressure gauge, just waiting... ... ... . :(

Do you know where to purchase a KDP tab, because I should buy one very soon. I assume the job requires draining all the oil and antifreeze, and other fun things.

Thanks Andy and Doug for all the hard work, and pulling it off in time.

Brandon

Brandon,

The tab can be fabbed from a small piece of steel, no big deal. If I remember right, I didn't need to drain anything. I didn't remove the radiator. All I needed was a gearcase cover gasket, and a new front crank seal. Got them both from Cummins. Don't remember the prices. Been well over a year since I did it, though, so I don't remember everything involved. The front crank seal is the biggest PITA.

Jim

EXIT #

Andy(Hammer),Scott(ProRam) or Doug(Jetpilot),

As every other year, I'm working the weekend of the Kauffmans event. I'm close to beaver springs and working daylight shift. What time are you going to be there? Can I just show up to meet you guys and watch?

Well a week away so as I am off now till the show I'll check and update daily now. As for the beer deal, thanks but I'll pass, just guys-n-gals showing up and having fun is all I need. This old body doesn't heal as fast anymore and not having any alcohol in me for years it will not take much and you'll be lifting me into my bed for a Looooooonnnngggggg nap.

Advanced Diesel Technology

Mass Diesel

Double S Diesel

Drag Racers. .

Those who are going to Beaver Springs with Jetpilot will need to let me know if they are going to spin Saturday or wait till Sunday. You can do this at the show keep in mind though we also need to accomodate those who can not attend Sunday or may have to leave early saturday due to work constrictions first. Beaver Bob's place is about a 2hr trip up with traffic so plan accordingly.

I will try to have a place for all to sign in on as I did last year and hope not to miss anyone. Sometime during the day I'd like someone to control the dyno paces so I can mill around a little,LOL. We WILL break for lunch at Noon so all get to eat this time and Dave and the crew don't get all knarly on us.

One last note... .

With the departure of those going to Beaver Springs the show will continue till we either finish all the trucks for the day or run out of food and drinks. It is not necessary to plan on leaving if you do not want to go up north, we will run till done.

Proram will be at the helm of my Weber and looks like Rams-n-Hogs will bring his along. Who knows maybe even Shovelhead will show that shiny black Dually off this year again.

What could be better???.

Great Cooking,Killer Trucks,Good Times,Plenty of stories and a good old fashioned stomping of Jeff Knight,Sled Puller and Jetpilot. Hmmm,I can not wait. Bring your hats and lawn chairs, maybe a video camera or 2,who knows these guys might get stomped by a certain Phord pilot... ... ... ... ... Andy
