Hey guys, I can bring buns and some plates. Will need a count at some point. See you on the 5th. I think it's a good idea to invite the crew from Kauffmans Jeff:cool:

Kauffmans

I AM THE TATER SALAD KING!!!!!

like Jeff K. said A list closer to the date would be nice all.

I'LL grab a couple BIG bags of UTZ from BJs ( or if any body has any prefferance let me know) Who's got the burgers and dogs?

Sounds like it's gonna be a wild time in york springs

See ya'll Proram

I'll be keeping track of who wants to bring what and post it all the week before as I have it by then,,I am currently trying to keep a running total off the 5 boards it is posted on. .

Chris,,I hope it doesn't snow by then, but, with the way the waether has been one never knows,,If any one wants the Battlefield tour info let me know early and I'll get some info and mail it out to those who wish to go and do this... .

Scott,,A wild time in York Springs???,,Man that valley has been the site of way more displays of HP over the years than we could ever muster,,With the Latimore Valley Fairgrounds raceway just a stones throw away some of the best racers in Central PA cut their teeth way back when on that old dirt... .

Kauffmans and the BBQ is a no brainer,,Man those who missed how knarly Dave got in March when we delayed his lunch will attest to that,LOL,,Gotta feed the crew who provides us with a great oppurtunity to make noise and work on the trucks...

I'll bring a batch of my world famous homey burgers for Chef Wiredawg to singe and some drinks(speed tea, soda, water),,Looks like a heck of a show shaping up and have a few of the Ford group already committed(be nice now guys they have feelings ya know)...

I think the best comment I've seen so far was something like "I'll come, some one has to put that drug sniffin Jetpilot in his proper place as long as I do not have to work",,Come on now Gene, its only one day and since your the #2 king you have to come(not to mention if you don't and Johnboy does you'll never live it down,LOL),,Momentum is a building, lets keep it a rollin..... Andy

Hey Gene,

No crushing allowed! It will be a good time... . If you want to make some real HP I will bring an extra bottle of N02 for ya :D

Doug

Date Snafu......

Gang,We have a conflict with this date for those wanting to camp,,With the Apple Harvest Festival going on for the weeks including Oct 5th and 12th all of the campgrounds I have called locally are booked with no full hookups available,,This means we either stay on the same date and not have access to no full hooks or move it to another weekend,,I have chatted already with Kauffmans to move it to either the weekend of Saturday September 28th or Saturday October 19th,,My vote is for the September date, let me know what will suit everyone else or what you want to do,,The Roundtop Campground group has assured me that either of those two weeekends are free with no conflicts and those camping can all be put in the same area,,Sorry gang about the mixup at least we caught it early... ..... Andy

Hey Andy, Harley's open house is the weekend of the 28th. The Oct date would work for me. Friends come in for the open house. Whatever the group decides. Jeff:cool:

The campground in Hershey

http://www.gocampingamerica.com/hersheycamp/3_fea_rates.html

has lots of space available on Oct. 4th and 5th. The rate is $27. 50 for electric and water. I would like to keep the 5th if possible as that seems to be when the most members can attend. The campground is about 20 minutes (no traffic) North of Kauffmans. There is an abundance of activities close to this campground. Let me know what you guys think.

Doug

I'm not a big fan of that US-15/US-11/Camp Hill/I-83 mess.

There's always construction & I seem to pick days when traffic is all screwed up.

But if the consensus is to keep the date, I'll get thru it.

Maple Grove Raceway over in Reading PA (about 45 mins E. of Hershey) has grudge racing on the night of Oct. 5th. If any of you guys want to we could go on over and take a few runs down the track after dynoing.

Doug

Ok we are set for Saturday October 5th. For all of you camping up at Hershey please let me know as I only live about 1 mile away and would love to get together. See you all there.....

Doug
