I believe the key word is "rescheduled". We were here first. Take your ball and go home. J/K man. I'd love to see your truck run again. You gonna be at Maple Grove on the 7th? You got the drugs goin'? Hope to see you break into the 9's... well, okay... the 11's. I'll be there with my slow turd again. Hopefully I can stay a little later this time.

Well, I wasn't sure if we were going to make this one, or not, but it looks like we will be there. I'll be bringing the Hemi. No, wait. I'll be bringing the truck I was REALLY looking for when I bought the Hemi in the first place. Found it yesterday. A 2004 2500 R/C, 305/555, auto. I hate cats. Needless to say, it's now sitting in my driveway, and the Hemi isn't. See you guys there.

That's OK. The plan is to take the 96 apart, clean it up, paint it, etc, and maybe a few more mods. I just needed a truck that could be it's replacement while I did all that over the next couple of years, time and money permitting. Of course, now I have 2 to BOMB. May as well throw my wallet in a fire.



MO'Donnell - Congrats on getting married. Maybe we'll see you and the new bride in October.

Hey guys - I plan on being there! I was at the Fall Brawl last year and ran my stock truck. I've done a few MODs since then (but not enough yet). I plan on getting my DTT transmission a few weeks after the "Humbler", but it will be ready for October! This will be my first event as a TDR member. Can't wait to meet you guys and put some more faces to the names. Let me know what you need and I'll be glad to help. See you then!

With as busy as Kauffman's has been and since I can not control the weather,what did you expect me to do?.



The rolleyes was supposed to be in jest,obviously,you did not see it that way. IF weather dictates what happens to schedules and conflicts arise how would YOU have handled this situation?. There are TDR members who are not DHRA members and have no interest in drag racing their trucks who had already planned to show,do I change the date to address the ones who have a conflict due to a rain-out?.



Obviously,it seems to me that there are those out there who have problems with the way I set up events. From nasty emails with personal attacks, to opens shots on the forums I have had enough. With that said I WILL resign my chapter office TODAY and leave it for those who feel they can do the job better. I will continue with Fall Brawl as the only show I will work. Thanks to all here on this and the other forums who have and continue to support the shows... ... ... ... ... Andy

Andy, most of us here very much appreciate your support and hard work. You helped me out personally with MAFDC; do not let a few disgruntled people discourage you.

The DHRA event was the event that was rescheduled, and I would not have expected you to do anything about it. Perhaps, due to our own issues, I did take the roll eyes the wrong way. If thats the case then I do apologize. I think you have done a great job with the Kauffmans events since I have been involved with the MDTDR but If you feel that you need to resign, then so be it as that is your decision. My decision to leave the MDTDR, as well as the TDR, was not based on your comment as my mind had been made up quite some time ago, it was just the right time for me to do it. Good luck to you and the rest of the MDTDR members.
