Hey, does anyone have an idea about what kind of numbers the higher hp trucks will be putting down?

More than I have seen any of the Ford contingent handle thus far at any of our meets :-laf :-laf :-laf .



I'd say most will be in the 300-500hp catagory with a few stragglers over 500hp,it really depends on who shows.



I will tally food tommorrow morning and get it up as I overslept and am leaving for work now. If I am not there asap Saturday Morning I will be there. Seems like my boss is being a PIA and will not allow me to take off so it will be show up after my nightly trip to Syracuse. John,Don or Scott will get things ripping if I am not there and I will call to let them know of my arrival.



I will also hope for us to squeeze this in between the 2 forcasted storms as we don't need another Fall muddy mess. I will check with Ernie and Dave for parking if it rains bad. The new pavement was supposed to be laid down a couple of weeks ago and I haven't made it up since. BTW guys,no tearing up the new pavement either with burnouts,thats what they made the big road for,LOL. ... ... ... Andy

How about I do this for all my wonderfull TDR Buddies and for the sake of friendly competition!!



I'll offer a friendly little wager to anyone who wishes to take it



Take a reasonable stab, based on your past experience(under 500 hp, no 800 hp guesses ), at what my lowly 7. 3 PSD will do on the rollers. If the truck does less than your guess, I will pay that person $1 for every 1 hp it comes in under. If it comes in over, they pay me $1 per 1 hp over :--) If anyone gets within +/-10 hp of the actual number, they get $20



That would make it interesting ugh!!! :-laf

Well I tried to have the day off, but work just was not on my side, to many projects to do. I have to deliver a load in the morning, then back to the yard to fix 2 trailers that I need to have on the road for Monday.

Weather for those asking... .

After doing some research and watching the local weather forcasters it looks like we will have about a 12-24 hr window of no rain. The first storm is supposed to be out of the area by this morning and "Himacane Charley" is not forcast to get to us till late Saturday nite. Lets hope this hold true to form,but,I believe we can do a better job forcasting the weather. It amazes me we can land a man on the moon,land a craft on Mars,but can not get the weather right,go figure. Best part of the weather in our area,we had 7 dry days in June,4 in July and August is not much better so far. I am beginning to think I moved to Seattle by mistake or just got time warped again.

I have already looked over my vast array of notes from prior shows and looked at my endless amount of Ford dyno sheets and have a pretty good guess. Could be costly for you,hehehehehehehehehehehehehe.

They are injectors from an International DT530 motor Basically, they flow about twice the fuel as a 7. 3 PSD injector does!

OK... here is the deal:



Since my transmission is not working well I have this idea:



1. I will drive up tomorrow morning with the ECM in my truck

2. We can remove it

3. Someone with an '02 auto can install it and then dyno with it on and then off

4. We put it back on my truck and I can go home.



Now... with that said it appears that I will need to be home no later than 12:30 PM. So, I would need to do this as early as possible. My questions:



1. Does anyone have an '02 auto?

2. What is involved in who dyno's first? Can I butt in line

Well I am not sure why that happened. I just typed a response to all here and the new site cleared it out and asked me to relogin,go figure. This new software is a PIA here.



Parking...

Campers-Use the gravel lot at the top of Kauffman's lot. Its where Sled Puller unloaded last year for Fall Brawl.

The rest of us try and stay off the grass. We can use it if needed but the recent rains were alot more than what we seen at the fall show and will be a bigger mess than we had then. The lot paving has not been done yet but enough has been opend up to allow for parking. Do not park directly behind the dyno door please.

400 on number 2 alone and 600 with all your drugs on. IF you hit 600 with drugs you will develop a bigger cult following that the Dukes and Johnboy ever had on the Ford site. I am not sure if I can cover the amount of $$$ for the missed guess,LOL. Time will tell.

It will live and I am certain that the dyno or its operator will not hurt it. Now if you obtain a bigger number than KTA's first gen I will not be responsible for the thrashing you will give it later going home being the top first gen in the country. LOL .

See me or ICEMAN if I am not there yet and I will try and fit you in ASAP due to time constraints as early as your ready. I am not sure on the 02 auto deal and who has one. The dyno is easy on your equipment and you will be able to relate what problems you have to Dave or what the transmission is doing.
