How 'bout a BOMB party at Massdiesel's New Shop?

brake lines

LMills, i was thinking the same thing, and then i got to your post. I thought Greg was making excuses that day on 83, but i couldn't quite hear over the noise of both our trucks. Something about the cops ahead, or his exit being only 5 miles up the road or something. :p

Just messin with ya Greg.

BTW, why didn't you run the nitrous all the way down the track???

Just so everyone knows, my truck may be faster... :D but it's not quite 8000lbs.

Have a good one,

Chris

why don't you just listen

the best thing for you to do now is get yourself a used 12 valve CUMMINS and set it in your superduty. honestly !!! you would have a great truck then !!

think about it,,,it may be less expensive in the long run cause it will happen again if you drop another stroker in there and try and run that kind of hp.

not bashing you at all,,,just trying to help !! you have the perfect opportunity ,,especially if you like to play with hp.

Wow Greg. I'm sorry to hear that. Let me know if i can help. I'm not too far from ya, and have a gooseneck trailer.

Good luck,

Chris

Thanks Chris, I appreciate that!! :D ;)

My motor has had a mechanical knock for a long time. I'm actually amazed it has lasted this long with the amount of modding I've been doing

This just gives me the oppurtunity do do some things to the bottom end and heads that I hadn't done before because I didn't want to pull the motor :D

Iceman,

I like the challange of trying to make power with the PSD ;) Oo.

Greg, sorry to hear about your truck. Let me know if you need any help with anything. I have a trailer as well if you need it.

Kevin

Greg, as I replied over on TDS, I am sorry about what happened. You are way more calm than 99. 99% of us would be. I'm sure you'll get 'er up and running in no time, and be back better than ever for the Fall Brawl.

Did you email Duane? What did he say?

Thanks Guy's :)

Dave Shoap(dieseldave99) and I are going to pick her up tomorrow evening with his gooseneck. We will drop it off at his house(Pottstown) and that's where I will rebuild it. Searching for local blocks right now. I already have some goodies being made up as we speak to put in her Oo. :D

I'm having a set of heads decked, fire ringed, and installing a Hypermax High Rev Kit in them :) I have a set of balanced, polished, peened, and Cryo'd rods on their way from Ca. and am still working on what pistons I will use :p

It's going to be fun, but hectic  I have to get it back together ASAP because of work ;)

Greg,

If you need some help, let me know. Both Chad and I would be willing to lend a hand. We are about 20 minutes from Pottstown. Chad has a fully outfitted metal fabrication shop and is a good welder. I'm just good at handin' guys the beer.

Dave

Thanks everyone for all your support and help!!

Well. . picked her up last night :D

Found a fresh rebuilt short block and will start rebuilding her shortly Oo.

If you are in need of someone to port/polish your heads I know a Guy in New Market Va. That dose some killer work on Pulling tractor heads. Maxflow motorsports he also has a flow bench. Foresters pulling tractors seem to do well with his setup. As well as others. just an idea.
