Fellow Rammers:
Today, I made my fog lights operate off a separate switch in the cab for daylight running lights. Since + battery sits at the lights all the time, all I did was install a relay that that operated by a switch in the cab with a switched battery source (so they turn off when I turn the truck off). The relay provides a ground to battery side of the contacts in the fog lamp relay. The fog lamp indicator lights in the truck when I have the daytime running lights on.
I also connected some 150 watt off road lights facing backwards on my headache rack. All connections saudered with heat shrink.
See y'all,
Wiredawg
