Usually the color is a little gray, when district is first removed. Then rechecked, oil is clean. After right wheel bearing replaced, fine metal discovered 2-times. When should fine metal disappear? Gear oil has 16k miles on it.

Wouldn't hurt to change the fluid and hose everything down with brake clean. Hopefully, what you're seeing isn't signs of another bearing going out. Any chattering going on while turning? Could also be from the lack of, or not enough additive for the limited slip.

Limited slip? Always dirty and fine metal dust in the oil.
