i was asked to pull a parade float the other weekend and was concerned about transmission temps but the amsoil and double deep pan really kept the temps down. as most of us with modified trannies know that stop and go traffic with a stock pan and atf +4 the temp can get hot real quick (225+).
i pulled the float for over a hour in 1st gear at idle with my foot lightly on the brake sometimes and the temp never went higher than 180.
the float i pulled won first place in the amateur class and i told them it was the truck that caught the judges eyes
i am not sure which upgrade did the best job at keeping the temps down because they were both done at the same time but the combination of the two works for me
