I need to order one today, and I would like your input on either of these 2 systems.

Magna Flow T-409 14 gauge-------$367 delivered

MBRP T-409 not sure of gauge size--$531 delivered

I want something that will fit good and last.

Can't say which is better but I got the 4 inch T409 MBRP and I like the sound of the muffler and fit was beautiful. I'd go for T305 if I had it to do again. 5 year warrenty for T409 and lifetime for T305. If your in the rust belt you might go T305. I'd recommend using SS band clamps in place of the exhaust clamps. Got 3 for mine at NAPA for $10 apiece. They look good and make it easy to remove later unless your welding them. I agonized over Magnaflow Vs MBRP just like you. The MBRP is 16 gauge (as are most of the systems I've seen... not many are 14 gauge) and is a quality system with the rods welded in the right place to fit the stock hangers. MRBP cost about $440 plus free shipping on mine here: http://www.xtremediesel.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=414

Heres the rear hanger $28 from DPPI:

If your truck is 94-98. 5 then you'll need a new hanger in the rear for the tail pipe piece. I bought one for my 97. Mark at DPPI sells them. Thats where I got mine. Also, you might consider adding a high flow intake like AFE Pro Guard 7 or a BHAF. Then your turbo will sing and you will be :) ing!! from ear to ear.

Price for the Magna Flow was from RPMOutlet.com, and the price for the MBRP was from extremediesel.com

Mark, I'm sorry, didn't get your message 'till later in day and by that time I had allready ordered from RPMOutlet the MagnaFlow System P/N 15924.

As usual I probably made the wrong decsion, and the quality of this system will be low, but had to get something started as we are leaving for Long weekend.

Dave--roger that on the SS band clamps, have them ordered through local NAPA as of yesturday--I ordered 4 of them.
