Hi, im trying to decide on an exhaust system i have narowed it down to 4 inch Magniflow or Rip . The Magniflow system is stainless from the rpm outlet .com it seems like a good deal they say its 14 guage t-304 stainless . the system with a resenator tip would cost me $430. 00 shipped . The Rip system is 16 gauge aluminize coated steal it looks like its on sale for $298. 00 but i would have to add a tipp and shipping to that. They both seem to have good reveiws here but i see more poeple runing Rip systems and i have seen they have excellent costomer service. The stainless system seems like a longer lasting setup what do you think :D

A buddy just put Rips system on & I like the sound of it better than my Banks Monster exhaust. Also like his rolled tip. He better keep on eye out when we go camping.

Buy your exhaust from Rip... then buy gauges from Rip... . then by a box from Rip... . then by injectors from Rip..... by that time, he'll know your voice on the phone and he'll just tell you what he can sell it for (along with his cost most of the time), and he'll know your address by heart. :D

Maybe I've spent too much $$$ with Rip. Anybody else get a Christmas card from him last year? :D

hey BKenny I'm right there with you. I need to get a new system on my rig. really wish there were more sights with sound clips. i love the turbo sound through the exhaust at idle. i'v heard it at stop lights on other trucks and it sounds sweet. anyone know what type of system gives you this sound on a stock 2001 cummis?

Rip is a VERY cool guy to buy stuff from. I've bought two sets of gauges, and some exhaust parts... very friendly, prompt, affordable service.

It doesn't get any better than that!!!

And what type? 4" straight pipe!!! There is no way around it! :D

Rip

I was pleased with everything on Rips system, especially the sound

and overall fit!! At $298. 00 it's a good deal. Everyone who I know that

has dealt with Rip likes him, good service!

No but I better since I bought a turbo, exhaust, filter system, and FASS system, and injectors from him.

BLucia: Turbo sound through the tailpipe at idle... . Rips 4" with the Allied Muffler on sale for $298!

Get Rips! I just helped my brother in law install Rips Friday afternoon. Took about 1. 5 hrs & I couldn't wipe the grin from his face! No more "Little Pipe", now I call him "Short-Pipe) since he's running a short bed. Customer service is great as earlier mentioned many times.

The only choice for sound, service & price is Rips IMHO!

Clay :D :D

Great Choice! The "gottohaveit fever" has just begun. It's a slippery slope & I believe you've just started slippin! Enjoy the SLIDE!

I put Rip's system on over Christmas. By myself, on the ground it took me over half a day, but I think about things too much. Getting it trimmed and angled just right around the spare tire took me some time, but it does with any system. I ordered the muffler and the resonator because I thought I wanted it to be as quiet as stock. Dumb move. I didn't put the resonator on and I won't. The sound and fit are perfect without the resonator. I love this exhaust. I'm at the top of the slippery slope. My Catcher ECM is hopefully airborne right now and Rip will be getting a call soon for some F1 Mach ?? injectors. Then I'll need a FASS, and a clutch, and a turbo.

Rips 4"

So, how do you like your exhaust now that you have had it for a while?

Absolutely LOVE it! I still find myself standing on it when entering a tunnel just to hear that growl! Rips 4" with the Allied Muffler just sounds GREAT! IMHO there is no substitute.
