Well got my trans all put back together and headed for home yesterday with a small trailer(about 4000lbs and 900 miles) all was well for the first half of the trip and around reno my egts really started getting out of control. By the time i hit utah i had been watching my pyro more than the road. Any hill at all would jump right to 1400 and climbing. I was crusing at 75mph 1200 degrees and 15 to 20lbs of boost. Tons of smoke from the pipe. Truck is not lacking for power just much more slow to make boost. And a constant smoke trail. At first I thought maybe i had underestimated the weight of the trailer as i do have a lot of fuel but tried to drive today and still have a ton more smoke than usual. I was thinking map sensor but i have black spots all over my rear fender in the mits of all of the usuall soot witch makes me think i may have lost another of edges(diesel dynamics) crappy injectors. My idle seams a bit more erratic than usuall as well( truck has idled like crap ever since the injector swap. ) Turning my fuel down is not an option at this point since my smarty was stolen and i am stuck on sw9. Thanks for any help or something I might have overlooked.
