I was at the Frederick Fair this past sept, in the pits, only about 50 feet away, when i superstock tractor had a rack stick, it was running a sigma pump, probably 1500hp, and there was no stopping him. The thing he probably did wrong was hold the brake to try to stop it at first and all that did was inable the motor to build full boost, he was going at least 60mph. He only made it about 200ft before the motor let loose. Amazingly he was able to stay on the thing, only one person was hurt, he slammed into a tractor trailer and came to a stop. Worst thing i've ever witnessed. If he was pointed in the other direction he could of killed 100 people. he probably didn't have any time to pull/push his shutoff.
