I just wanted to give an update and ask a question.

1. Dodge member Ron R had bought a 2015 Ram 3500 but the tee from his old truck wouldn't fit & he preferred not to use the integrated controller if possible.
He called and with me looking at my various notes on my very old MB sheets and Dutch getting out his vernier calipers and checking things out under our hood, we felt we had found a tee that would work. I have a small variety of parts left. We sent one to Ron and he said it fit perfectly so he's able to use his Max Brake again.

2. Another Dodge Ram owner contacted me saying mice had eaten thru his MB cable. I haven't had any cables for years but he wanted to know if "splicing" would work. We had no information to give him but between him & us, we felt it was worth a try. I thought I would post here to ask if anyone had spliced their cable and if so did it work?
I like when I can pass good information on to customers who may be in a bind. Hugs & enjoy what's left of your Labor Day weekend. Di

I want to publicly thank BOTH Dutch and DI for the time they spent with me figuring out what "T" would work on my 15 so I can feel confident in my RV's braking once again. "Above and beyond" and I do appreciate it!!!

I have a question re: the bent lever on the Max Brake Controllers. A customer took his apart & "unbent" it but it is still showing 1 & 1/2 bars. He is also getting a flashing 79/81/M on his screen. The link I had for the bent lever is no longer viable but I was wondering if a member here knows anything about the flashing numbers and if there is still a replacement lever. Thanks so much. Hugs, Di

I installed Kodiak disk brakes on my Airstream travel trailer 5 years ago, had the Maxbrake before the switch and still works flawlessly after the switch. Thanks again to Dutch & Di for introducing me to the best controller. I had a Prodigy before that I thought was great, but Maxbrake is the BEST without a doubt. fwiw

HAs anybody used this unit (Maxbrake) to operate a electric over hydraulic disc brake system

My 15's OE controller is lousy so I installed my MB from my 11 and I have great braking stopping my 23K MobileSuites with Electric over Hydraulic disk brakes.

Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am doing the disc brake conversion, hopefully by the end of the year. Can't buy all the parts at once, so doing the wheels, then the actuator, then the brake line. My G-Neck weights about 15-16K depending on what's in it. Between the Air Ride and the disc brakes I might just have the altimate trailer suspension and brakes.

My biggest regret with my 15 is letting my MaxBrake go to my friend along with my 04. The new factory controller is poor at best. A few months ago I answered an online customer satisfaction questionnaire from Ram. I made a point to go into great detail about its faults. A few days later I got a phone call from a very nice woman asking for more detail. After about 10 minutes she asked if I would be willing to speak to an engineer about my complaint and naturally I said yes. She said she would pass along the info. You guessed it. I never heard another word. I was so hopeful. I bet Santa won't be coming this Christmas either.

Poor Baby, I feel your pain. I hear weekly that "I wished I would have kept my MB". Just remember that whatever RAM does/does not do----Santa will ALWAYS find you!!!!:D Hugs, Di
