What size tires can i fit with out rubbing on a 2005 2500 2wd, stock suspension and auto trans? Looking at Michilin LTX/MS or BF Goodrich A/T.

Are you talking 285/70 or 285/75 R 17s? For height purposes, the 285/70 is 32. 7" tall, and slightly narrower than the 285/75, which is 33. 83" tall. What about with a leveling kit? Or are the 285 still too wide?

Depending on the kit, your front end load, and current spring sag, a 2. 5-3" leveling kit should give you enough clearance for the 285/70s. You'll still get some fender rub at incident angles, and maybe at full lock.
